Arterial distensibility is one of the important indicators to measure the aging and pathological changes of vessels. In order to improve the measurement method, the feasibility and application scope of a nondestructive measurement method were tested and verified.Fourteen measuring points were taken on two different expansionary rubber tubes in test, the real-time pressure, flow rate and diameter of the measuring point were collected, the non-invasive method was used to calculate rubber tube'distensibility, and the results obtained from the non-invasive method were compared with the results obtained from the traditional method and wave analysis method. The results show that the non-invasive measurement method can effectively evaluate the distensibility of the rubber tubes, and its effective separation of the pulse wave was verified by the wave strength analysis method, and the less distensibility of the rubber tube, the smaller the effective range of the non-invasive measurement method.Non-invasive measurement method can effectively obtain the distensibility of specific sites on artery vessel wall, and the waveforms based on wave intensity analysis theory can provide a reference for the analysis of the mechanical properties of arterial vessel wall.
