abstract:
A new method was proposed based on XFEM and EDEO algorithm to detect the position and size of damage. In order to identify the parameters of damages, EDEO algorithm was used for minimizing the difference between measurement data and the output of XFEM model. As to the DEO algorithm, a dynamic optimization mechanism by changing search scope was represented.Five processes, that is start search, fine search, translation search, backdate search and research, were used in EDEO algorithm.Compared with DEO algorithm, EDEO algorithm has higher efficiency and convergence rate.Numerical studies were carried out to demonstrate the reasonability and validity of the enhanced optimization and the damage identification method.
