    abstract:
    Australia is rich in CBM resources,especially middle rank CBM with shallow burial depth,high gas content and high permeability.The medium-rank CBM in Block H of Australia was taken as the research object,and logging,core and other data were taken as the basic data.On the basis of identifying coal by logging data and studying the distribution characteristics,the coal quality,reservoir physical property characteristics and gas content characteristics of CBM reservoir were studied.The dynamic Langmuir volume method was adopted to simulate the coal seam gas content and gas saturation on the basis of core data.The results show that middle rank CBM in H Block of Australia has the characteristics of high gas content,low ash content,low volatile content,low humidity,high fixed carbon and relatively high permeability,which shows a good development prospect.The CBM reservoir characteristics evaluation lays a foundation for the development of Block H in Australia,and provides a reference for the same type of CBM reservoir evaluation in China.
