    abstract:

In this paper, effect of strong pulse current on static recrystallization, microstructure and mechanical properties of rolled AZ31 alloy was studied by the orthogonal experiment method. The results show that rolling deformation and pulse width have a significant influence on recrystallization fraction, with the increase of rolling deformation and pulse width, recrystallization fraction increases significantly.Rolling deformation has obvious effect on reducing the average grain size, while pulse width and pulse processing time promote the homogenization of grain size.Rolling deformation and pulse width are the main factors influencing the thermal effect.Experiments show that recrystallization fraction is 97.9%and the average grain size is 6.74μm under the condition of optimal combination.Tensile tests show that under the conditions of 30%rolling deformation, 10 min pulse processing time and 70μs pulse width, the tensile strength and elongation of the material were 341 MPa and 11.6%, respectively.
