    Aluminum alloy structure is one of the key links to realize city cabling as the main object of State Grid new material promotion. In this paper, a new type of cable bracket(double column type F aluminum alloy cable bracket) was tested in terms of its mechanical properties, so as to obtain the load-displacement curve of aluminum alloy cable bracket under static load and the strain intensity of key measuring points. Through numerical simulation analysis, the load-displacement curve and failure mode of the test and simulation were compared to verify the reliability of the numerical simulation analysis. The applicability of aluminum alloy in cable support engineering was proved by combining the two analysis results. At the same time, the stress analysis of beam-column joints was carried out for this type of cable support structure, and the optimization scheme of the joints was put forward.
