abstract:
In order to study the dynamic response of traditional timber structures, the timber frame was simplified into a planar frame model, the four initial motion states under horizontal earthquakes were analyzed and the effects of aspect ratio, mass ratio and friction coefficient on initial motion state were investigated. The results show that under horizontal earthquakes, the timber frame has four initial motion states: rest, slip, rock and slip-rock; The influencing factors of the initial motion state are: aspect ratio, mass ratio, horizontal acceleration and friction coefficient; The aspect ratio is a key parameter for the timber frame to enter a rock or slip-rock state; The increase in the mass ratio can suppress the occurrence of slip-rock.
