Study on Pollution Transfer Based on Coupling Model of Vadose Zone and Aquifer

abstract:
A wastewater treatment tank wastewater from a farm in Shanxi was studied. Ammonia nitrogen was selected as the characteristic pollution factor of simulation prediction to forecast the transformation of migration in the vadose zone by using Hydrus-1D model, and finally get the changing time and concentration of ammonia reaching underground water. The results were input into the groundwater numerical model of Visual Modflow, and the range and concentration change of ammonia nitrogen migration in groundwater were obtained. Results show, the vadose zone is a medium that must be passed through when pollutants enter groundwater, the vadose zone-aquifer coupling model can better fit the actual pollutant migration and transformation process. The results can provide theoretical guidance for remediation of contaminated sites and prevention and control of groundwater pollution.
