abstract:
The design ideas of car modeling of imitating natural wind flow patterns were proposed for decreasing energy consumption of cars.A test wind tunnel was designed and the sand dune patterns were imitated and digitalized accurately by a non-contacted 3-D scanner.The concept sports car surface was designed by the digital patterns with low resistanceas proved by Ansys-fluent.So the flow pattern of natural wind has better application in the low resistance sports car design in the future.
