    abstract:
The influence of different visual feedback on pen tilt input performance was investigated. Full-track graphical visual feedback (FVF), partial-track graphicl visual feedback, digital visual feedback, and no-track visual feedback were designed. Comparative experiments were con- ducted to explore the selection time and the error rate in target slection tasks that users tilt the pen to select 5°, 10° and 20° fan-shaped targets. Results show that visual feedback promoted the performance of speed and sccuracy, and FVF presented the best performance. Based on the experimental results, design methoods of pen tilt interaction technique were discussed and a series of possible pen tilt input application scenarios were proposed. The findings provide favor and guidance for pen tilt interface design.
