abstract:
Cellular metallic materials and the related sandwich structures are of current academic and industrial interest on functional and structural integrated design and application,because of their excellent physical and mechanical properties.This paper reviews the mechanical properties of cellular materials at various strain rates.The dynamic response and energy absorption of sandwich structures are also discussed.
