abstract:
China has a large seasonal frozen soil region. The study of physical and mechanical properties of soil under the action of freeze-thaw cycles, for the need to meet certain strength and stability requirements of cold region engineering, has important guiding significance to the construction and protection.Freeze-thaw cycle test is a basic test in studying the characteristics of soil freezing and thawing, mainly involving three test indexees: the temperature, time and number of freezing and thawing, but current research related scholars gave not reached a relatively unified reference basis for facilitationg the determination of test scheme and the comparasion of test results. In this paper,a the comprehensive review is given on the progress in the soil freezing and thawing damage research, the determination of freeze-thaw test scheme is introduced and analyzed, and a consgruetive, scheme is put forward. The influence of the freezing and thawing temperature, number, moisture content, plasticity index of soil on the freeze-thaw damage is discussed, and the research progress in physical and mechanical properties under the action of freezethaw cycles is reviewed. Finally, the deficiencies and prospects of current studies on the soil in the freezing and thawing damage mechanism and constitutive model are given.
