    Wireless multimedia sensor networks introduce multimedia information such as images, audio, and video on the basis of traditional wireless sensor networks, which can achieve more fine-grained monitoring applications. But they also face various constraints and challenges such as network energy consumption, node performance, and storage space size. According to the features of wireless multimedia sensor networks, an compressed sensing image compression was proposed with sampling and adaptive transmitting in the Fourier domain by multi-node cooperation. And it can achieve productive recovery effect. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively reduce the reconstruction error and improve the quality of reconstructed image, and is more suitable for the application requirements of WMSNs network with low energy consumption.
