    abstract:
In this paper reviewed are the development and progress of three different typical non-invasive neuroimaging representative technologies, i.e., Electroencephalogram (EEG), functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI), and synchronous EEG-fMRI. The importance of multimodal fusion analysis technology is emphasized at the same time. The three different modalities combined with their practical application such as use in analytical platform, data construction platform, auxiliary clinical diagnosis and treatment based on the multimodal neurological function are discussed. The technical challenges facing the new multimodal neuroimaging technology and its significance in the development in the brain science is also dealt with for better exploring and enhancing the multimodal neuroimaging techniques.
