Numerical Simulation on the Axial Buckling of Multi-layer Laminated Glass Beams

First,we investigated the linear buckling behavior of two-layer PVB(polyvinyl butyral) laminated glass beams under constant axial loads by using ABAQUS, and obtained the variations of critical load with buckling time under different boundary conditions. The maximum of relative errors between simulated and theoretical results is less than 10%, which confirms the reliability of the finite element models.
