Party Committee Central Group of the College of Physics and Optoelectronics Holds the Fifth Enlarged Study Meeting
On May 10, the fifth topic study on Party history of the College of Physics and Optoelectronics was held in Conference Room 502. Members of the Party Committee of the college and Secretaries of Party Branches attended the study. The meeting was hosted by Dai Zhen, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the College.
The meeting focused on learning the spirit in the important speech of the Mobilization Conference of Party History Study by General Secretary Xi Jinping, and carried out exchanges about learning the history of the new period of reform and opening up.
At the meeting, through the major historical events and important time points of the new period of reform and opening up, Dai Zhen reviewed the great achievements made by the Party since the implementation of the reform and opening up policy in the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee. The teachers at the meeting had an in-depth discussion about the topic. Wang Juanfen, secretary of the Party branch of the Department of Optical Engineering, made a speech combining the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the conference celebrating the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up and her own experience. She deeply realized the great historical significance of reform and opening up.
At last, Dai Zhen made arrangement for the next topic study. He stressed that every Party Branch should organize the topic study of Party History as scheduled, and every member of the Party should try to get the power from the belief and turn the knowledge into practices.
