Xianhong Science and Taiyuan University of Technology co-establish the Research Center for Measurement and Control Technology and Advanced Transducers

On January 5, 2021, the signing ceremony of Xianhong Science and Taiyuan University of Technology for jointly establishing a research center for Measurement and Control Technology and Advanced Transducerswas held in Hohhot. Liu Yuhui, general manager of Xianhong Science Power Division, and Qiao Tiezhu, deputy dean of the College of Physics and Optoelectronics, Taiyuan University of Technology signed the agreement. Zhang Yongwen, secretary of the Party Committee of Helinger County, and Wu Kuisheng, chairman of Xianhong Science attended and witnessed the signing.

Zhang Yongwen spoke highly of the achievements of Xianhong Science in innovation. He said that Xianhong Science is in line with the national development strategy and in line with the exploration of a new way of high-quality development guided by “prioritize the ecology and take green development”. He believed that technologies with “Meng chip” as the core would have a broad future in the application of rail transit, smart grid, and smart cities. It was hoped that through this university-enterprise cooperation, Taiyuan University of Technology can make a good use of its talents, scientific researches and experimental advantages, optimize the layout of disciplines according to the practical needs, form better foundation for innovation, build a future talent system, and promote the efficient integration of industry, university and research.

He encouraged to transform more scientific research results into application in local areas, further develop the “Meng chip” brand, and promote “conception” of university-enterprise cooperation to “practice”, from “platform” to “application”, and strive to build a complete innovation-driven system to support local economy, in which universities provide talents for the industry, enterprises and universities jointly incubate scientific research achievements, and the science and education center promote innovation.

Deputy Dean Qiao Tiezhu expressed that the two sides should carry out “industry, university, research and application” through university-enterprise cooperation. He expected to fully show the advantages of universities and achieve profound cooperation with Xianhong Science in personnel training, production research and development, market applications, etc., and especially hoped to use Xianhong Science’s ultra-micro power sensor technology with Meng chip as the core to work together innew industrial sensors such as Wisdom Mine Sensors.

Wu Kuisheng, chairman of Xianhong Science, said that Xianhong Science cooperates with Taiyuan University of Technology in order to build a new sensor research center in Hohhot aimed at providing ultra-micro sensing technology for wisdom mines and other industries. At the same time, both sides can work together to develop industry standards and build a training base for talents.
