The College of Physics and Optoelectronics Holds a Report for Graduates’ National Awards Winner
On March 30, 2021, the College of Physics and Optoelectronics held a report on the personal statement of graduates’ national scholarship winners in Conference Room 308. The report invited seven winners in 2020 to share experiences aiming to play the role of leadership, inspire research enthusiasm by them and share life thoughts. Graduate student supervisors Jia Peng, Wei Hongyan, Wang Tao and Zhang Jianguo served as review experts, and graduates and some senior undergraduates attended the presentation, which was hosted by graduates Liu Yinshan and Cao Jingyang.
At the beginning, Yang Qiang stated from three aspects: research experience, comprehensive development and growth thinking. He said “the research is like a hard practice, so we need to learn for life-long and always make progress”. Then, other reporters Zhao Le, Zhao Jieru, Li Cai, Li Wei, Yan Jielin and Yang Xiaoshan, shared their experiences from research experience, life and growth philosophy and employment, etc. The four supervisors made wonderful comments on the reports of the seven students and interacted with the participants. The whole report benefited the students.
The report finished successfully. Students present have deeply felt the power of role models, and they will organize future scientific research, study and life better, and have clearer plans and goals. This report will inspire graduates to work hard and fasten their pace into becoming high-level talents with both ability and political integrity for the development of the Party and our country.
